In comparison to the 8″ or 11″ Monoloop metal detector coils, the Minelab 15″ x 12″ Monoloop metal detector coil is still highly sensitive to little gold nuggets, has deeper depth on larger gold, and covers more ground. When looking for deeper nuggets in places that are too vegetated for the 18″ monoloop to be used effectively, as well as when hunting new open areas for new patches, it is fantastic. With the exception of the worst soil conditions, it is highly steady and works well.

In softer soils, this coil is producing excellent results; several nuggets are being found on supposedly worked-out patches.
