The SDC 2300 is highly sensitive to tiny gold dispersed in highly mineralized soil. Due to the difficult ground conditions and fine gold scale, this gold is usually missed by prospectors with both VLF and PI detectors. A tiny gold nugget previously missing in search areas can now be identified.
These small gold discoveries will lead the way to new patches and higher reserves of gold. Once the coil passes over metal or non-ferrous targets, the SDC 2300 gold detector audio response provides discrimination in pitch and tone type, equivalent to amplitude and period for shallow and deep targets. A louder, shorter sound may indicate a shallow target, whereas the presence of a deep, large target can be indicated by a quieter, wider sound. A target that sounds off many times will inevitably be a near-surface or surface target for any swing.

MPF (Multi Period Fast) technology integrates extremely fast switching of pulse induction between detector signals from Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx). Therefore, during the receive period, minimal residual transmit signal is present, allowing for strong sharp detection of very tiny gold.
